These stimulating, challenging and highly informative bushcraft courses depart from the fundamental survival skills in order to deliver a high degree of immersion and experiential learning in combination with the most adaptable skill-sets available to wilderness bushcraft. Furnishing you with a sound foundation of knowledge from which to build, these week-long courses aim to further cultivate and establish individual wilderness competency and awareness, adding many more ‘tools’ to your established skill-base, while immersing you in the stunning natural landscape of our 2000 acre Lake District woodland estate.
trailbreaker_main The Woodlander Bushcraft Course – This week-long immersion into the ‘go-anywhere’ fundamental skill-sets of bushcraft and wilderness survival will furnish you with an in-depth, fully rounded and balanced understanding of living and travelling in wild places. This highly informative course eases the transformation into wilderness life as any apprehension is replaced by confidence, understanding and ability.
Wild WoodsNew Course!  A celebration of trees – We are thrilled to host Ben Medder from Evolve, Move, Play, who will be mentoring you in the art of arboreal locomotion from tree-running, climbing and vaulting, to brachiation. Camping in suspended  Tentsile tree-tents, learning the art of axemanship and knifecraft, fire by friction, tracking, forage woodland wild food, cooking on wood fires, and banqueting on spit-roast venison, and learning about the individual tree species themselves, from lore to uses. Evenings will be spent unwinding at a luxury 4* spa before retiring to the campfire circle. 
 Northwoods crafts and skills bushcraft course North Woods CraftsNew Course! During this week long course, you will learn the skills and knowledge required to craft the fundamental tools of the temperate North Woods – the crooked-knife, the axe handle and the canoe paddle. The underlying ethos of this course focuses on the ability to craft your own tools, using simple bush-tools, and to not be reliant on mass produced items.
solo_main The Native Bushcraft CourseBack for 2017! This week-long intermediate level course of applied bushcraft skills enters where the ‘Woodlander’ departs. With a familiar mix of camp-fire:classroom theory and practical forest immersion, you will extend your skill-base to encompass a wider range of topics and techniques. This enabling course prepares you to feel truly competent and familiar in the temperate environment, whilst enhancing a globally relevant and applicable skill base.
ceder_strip The Coastal  ForagerLast year at this amazing venue! This six-day course of coastal bushcraft and sea shore survival skills is a  unique chance to explore the extraordinary diversity and utility of Britain’s richest environment.  We will gather, forage and fish for for the abundant plants, seaweeds and shellfish that are readily available at our stunning and remote Scottish Sea-loch location.
