This exciting 7-day course is a collaborative project with Wilderness Medical Training, and the Land Rover Experience.
The aim of this
dynamic and unique training program is to provide a solid base of core
wilderness-proven skills, from three of the UK's leading providers of
off-road driving, vehicle preparation, bushcraft and expedition medical
training.
This three module course includes -
"...leaders are neither born nor made - they grow" (- Mary Cox)
Please Note: Becoming a good leader takes dirt-time and experience. This
course is just a part of your expedition preparation and focuses on
giving you a fundamental skill set in the core disciplines of
wilderness living skills, field medicine, vehicle preparation, bush
maintenance and off-road driving. Skills such as leadership,
communication and group dynamics are an equally important part of the
mix, and can often take much longer to develop.
"Hi Ben & Lisa Hope your both well. Thanks for sending all the info and pdf's. And also for putting together such a comprehensive and interesting course. I know of nowhere else in the world where in the course of one day you can learn how with a bit of primitive trig to safely fell a tree, detonate a piece of cotton wool, drive a car like a submarine, rip and flip a rabbit, out stare a snake, get shown the entire Greek mythological celestial cycle in one concentrated dose and still at the end of play have time for a slice of cake, god bless the sweet toothed among us. I think the American's would call all that that getting a bang for your buck. I learned a great deal, and had a real laugh with a top bunch of people!" Aran K, 2009
