Voyageur - Bushcraft Canoeing Expedition
A Five-day open Canoe Expedition
‘… Paddle a hundred miles in a canoe and you are a child of nature’
Pierre Elliot Trudeau
Like its sister course, the Nomad, the Voyageur journeys are not for the faint hearted and require a degree of commitment once under paddle. The journey is run over five days, during which time you will experience the stunning sea lochs and sounds of Scotland’s Moidart and Knoydart wilderness, taking in the dramatic seascapes and experiencing the ‘thrill of the paddle’. A Five-day open Canoe Expedition
‘… Paddle a hundred miles in a canoe and you are a child of nature’

By day there is a very good chance of seeing some of the abundant wildlife that inhabits this area, including sea eagles, herds of red deer, seal colonies, otters, porpoises and dolphins. By night, you will wild camp and forage for coastal edibles, set fishing lines and learn coastal bushcraft skills. However, in the event of extremely bad weather we will opt for campsites and bothy’s.
