Bushcraft is the World's oldest outdoor pursuit,
born out of necessity and desire to meet the natural world on its own
terms. Wilderness living skills have been developed and refined, not
only by native peoples living in foreign climes, but also much closer
to home; by woodsmen, hunters, trappers, naturalists, research teams,
and the European explorers who opened the frontiers of the New World.
It is the skill and knowledge of those who have lived, worked and
travelled through wild country that can provide valuable insight for
today's outdoor enthusiasts, nature lovers, backpackers, and global
adventurers.
Our courses are not about playing the primitive, neither are we a
military style 'boot-camp'. It is our firm belief that by drawing on
the wealth of traditional living skills and the best of modern
know-how, we offer you an opportunity to learn new skills, build
confidence, and gain a new perspective on the natural environment.
